Our Free Company
COMET was founded by Joyful Song after moving from Balmung, and putting all her time, money, and effort into the first Free Company she joined...only to have things blow up in her face thanks to one dramatic teenager.
Sick and tired of the hypocritical baloney, Song decided to start her own Free Company when (at the time) she found there just wasn't one that fit her love of both Role Playing and Hardcore in-game content, mixed with helping people through mid-core and older activities.
The Company's focus was, above all else, just having a place to relax without having to worry about offending someone, or dealing with people's drama, while completing content in the game; a small corner of the server where we could not only enjoy ourselves and make friends, but offer strangers a place to feel not-like-a-stranger-anymore.
And we actually mean it.
Seven years later, here we are! If you're here, it means you're likely interested. Take your time. Chill. Do your research. We're not going anywhere. :)

Medium-Rare Membership
We don’t like big FCs. They’re too impersonal. You don’t know who the hell is who. You’re one body in a sea of other bodies. That’s dumb. On the other hand, when someone says they’re a “family friendly” FC, that usually means they are small and packed full of cliques and drama.
We're too old for all that. So we decided to have a happy medium.
We stop at 60 members, and only 60 members. [We do NOT count alts in this number.]
We do things
What’s the point in forking over cash monthly for a game you sit and do nothing on? Our answer would be, there isn’t. So here at COMET, we do things. We do raids. We do trials. We kill primals. We run map groups. We Role Play. We throw parties. We do out of character stuff like movie nights and play other games together. We're all friends. We DO things.
Talking and stuff
We have Discord, because it’s literally the easiest way to communicate: it even has voice chat!
It can be used on mobile devices and computers alike, so the only person to blame for never knowing anything is you, and you alone.
